The OH has done something of immense stupidity (for a change). Chopped chillis, went to the loo now he feels like a very delicate part of his anatomy is on fire. He really is in agony (and I did laugh to start with but now its not funny). I gave him some drapolene cream which you can use to treat minor burns but it made it worse.

Please give me some suggestions as to how I can help him.

Ice cubes? I think the yoghurt would be best. Have you tried this before fliptheswitch?

Nearly as good as the Fiery Jack the Oh had put on his back. But plenty of soap and water solved that one.
Hee Hee, Fiery Jack. You had to wash your hands thoroughly before going to the toilet after using that!

Chopping chillies

hehe askyourgran. no i have not tried this myself but my boyf had a similar accident and did this.
Toothpaste? How? Why? The mind boggles.
Bath bits in milk.

reminds me of that song -- great balls of fire -----just don't sing it at the moment .
Well.... most folk let them pass through them first :-)

I suspect problem solved by now, but yeah I'd try yogurt to if it were available. Otherwise sit in a bath of cold water.

Thanks all. It went eventually - using very cold water and yoghurt out the fridge.

Poor chap - I know I shouldn't have laughed but one of the funniest things I have ever seen was him sitting on the bidet trying to soothe his fiery wedding tackle.
I bet that this is something he won't forget. :-)
I bet that was a kodak moment ;)
