Why does my neck

keep cracking when I move? Are my bones grating on each other? It is most disconcerting as it happens unexpectedly. Is there anything I can do about it?

That was quick Chris. Thanks for the link. I have read it through, but will go back for another look. I think it must be age related but it is a nuisance. Must try to relax more. I'm glad it doesn't really mean that my head is about to fall off, I did wonder.
There are times, SB1, when my own neck seems to be clicking a great deal but it comes and goes. (I've just tried moving my neck vigorously from side to side. While there's currently no clicking, there is a certain amount of 'grating'. As you suggest, SB1, the passing years do seem to take their toll!).
No big deal......just wear and tear.......and there is nothing that you can do about it or need to do about it.
