Why would someone fake a serious illness online? there seems to be a lot of sick people in AB, do you think all these illness are genuine, or are they faking it? If someone is suffering from Munchhausen's disease isn't that enough? Why can't they just say they're suffering from it without bothering to come on here with a fake disease?
I decided to step away from this site because I noticed some 'irregularities' in stories and unusual patterns of posting by certain individuals.

Ooooo, that look familiar :)
under the AB rules, has the op actually broken any ?
nope, at least not in this thread. Fretting about the illnesses of others is not an offence.

Besides, I tried clicking on the 'Ban' button in Chris's link but it didn't work...
You've obviously not been keeping up with things on here lately, Harry. Two of the 12 moderators are now 'out in the open'. (Myself and ChuckFickens). I know the names of the other 10 but I'm definitely not telling anyone!

So yes, I've got the deluxe version!
;-)
chris. each time i log on. i try and guess whitch mods are on duty !!!!!! sometimes its so easy ,
That`s cool, are you just in charge of banning and suspending or can you reinstate as well?
Anne:
No, the OP hasn't directly broken any rules. However the Ed doesn't approve of people having more than one username, and banned members are meant to be kept off the site permanently. (The OP wrote "I decided to step away from this site . . . ", which suggests that he/she must fall into one of those categories).
I was a bit suspicious when someone posted about losing toenails and suddenly lots of people turned up to state they had too, it may just have been to wind B00 up though.
Harry;
Moderators can both suspend and 'un-suspend'. We can also ban but not 'un-ban'. We can't remove individual posts or threads. (If that happens, it's definitely because one of the Eds has intervened)
↑ I really am losing my toenail.... I can post pics if you really want :) (B00 would love that)
She has a toenail as an avatar, a fetish I think really.
yes,the lady doth protest too much, methinks
BTW, Harry, moderators can't suspend or ban each other, even when they threaten to post revolting pics of of their loose toenails ;-)
my sister's like that - runs away in horror if she sees anyone cutting their toenails. I don't know how she copes with her own; maybe she's trained them to self-regulate.

Of course, 1unbeliever may think this is a suspicious claim.
So what`s the longest sentence for suspension?

The Ed says a week but I`ve seen people been gone for longer

We can take this convo in private if you wish?
Do Chuck's birds look like they're wearing blue Crocs, or is it just my monitor?

(Sorry to digress, 1unbeliever).
LOL, I wouldn't have an avatar with crocs in it :)

blimey, I would if I had feet like that
Thank goodness they don't have toenails.
Thanks Chuck!
