Sun Damage (or not) update
8 Answers
Saw my GP earlier for an arthritis check up and checked out my suspected sun damage.
She reckons it's pityriasis versicolor (full marks for Sara for suggesting it) and have some cream to get rid of it.
Fingers crossed all will be back to normal soon :)
My ESR (inflammation) seems to have shot up and GP not happy I still have bruises and pain from an injury aggravated back on New Years Eve so back to rhumo for me...joy!

Due back in October but GP wants to see if they can fit me in sooner and said she is going to write to orthapedics to get their opinion on my knee/ankle as not typical inflammatory, feels more mechanical.
Shouldn't have left it so long really - figured I'd just to be told it was an arthritis thing. It's been niggling on and off for a year then hurt my ankle in New Years Eve (that'll teach me for braving heels!) and some of the bruising never went away. Don't know where the time has gone this year mind and been rather distracted though.
Things are getting sorted though.

:( I thought maybe it might be because I have oily skin (constantly bugs me on my FB photos from nights out) which seems to cope as well as I do in the heat (ie not very well) so maybe a combination of oily skin and the warmer weather kicked it off.
Will let you know how I get on with the cream. Not expecting any results for a while having read up though, maybe the fringe (and a vat of concealer) is the way to go! I'm sure it's far more noticeable to me than anyone else though.
