I've been in the garden most of the morning mowing the lawn. I decided to take the cutting height down to its lowest going over the edge of the lawn. I've just been out to tidy up the straggley bits to the edge that the mower didn't catch, on my knees with a pair of scissors ... I found a long lost earring!! I'd saved the other one in case I ever found it again & actually only thought of them this morning as I'm out tomorrow at a meal & wished I'd still had them! Can't believe it, had I not gone out with the scissors, I'd have never found the missing earring & how the mower didn't mangle it up on the lower cut is a miracle! Wierd!!

Hurrah!
my duaghter had a necklace made from the stone in her father's ring. She lost the necklace about 2years ago and was devestated (her father is dead and this was her only physical momento of his ).However when she was pregnant she had a clearout of her wardrobe and in the pocket of a jacket she hadnt worn for well over three years she found the necklace - spooky or what as the beby's proposed birth date was her dads bday.
Well done, a good find.

Maidup .. perfect condition! They're not an expensive pair of earrings. But because they are a neutral colour stone (cubic zirconia stud ) ... they go with absolutely anything.
slinky ... you sound like a very wise friend of mine, she would have said the same, thank you.
boxtops ... :0)
nanny ... You know I don't think these things happen by chance. What a lovely thing for your daughter!
marvel ... Really glad I found the missing one!
