leanne I can understand why you are feeling awful but you really don't need to get in such a state about this (in my opinion). Chlamydia is the most common STI around and thousands of people get it. Most don't even know they have it and it's treatable with antibiotics.
i know its treatable and compared to the possibility of passing it on to my daughter i really dont care about myself, im ust worried about the health implications it may have on my daughter if i have passed it on, ive done some research and it says babys could get conunctivitis and pneumonia but are there more problems she can face.. its been such a long time
A urine test may well be sufficient, if not then the next step would be a swab, but do try not to over worry, things will get sorted and you will have piece of mind from then.
leanne if you weren't worrying then you might be thought of as a 'bad mother' but the fact you are taking his so seriously makes me think you are probably a very good one... now when your daughter is a lot older.... you will have a lot more to worry about
hello everyone wanted to let you all know ive seen the nurse and she said as my daughter hasnt had any eye problems its very unlikely that she would of caught anything if i did have it at the time of birth, she also said she assumes he would of gave me it as nearly 4 years with no symptoms is a long time and i would of been in agony with PID, thanks for all your advice, finally feel relieved!
In order to ask a personal question I was exceptionally invited to re-register under a different name. But I wasn't up to the 'method' telling me how to do it.
