Crown Court
I am attending court in a few weeks as a victim/wittness, i recently filled a form in about the costs i have incurred due to the assault made against me, like petrol and loss of earnings. The question i have is if this goes my way and the man is found guilty do i get these costs back? and who pays it? will it be a never ending repayment that i read about where its paid at £2.50 per week. Thanks in advance.

So. if you were assaulted by a millionaire the order will be for immediate payment (although the offender will probably be given a week or two to get the money paid into court). If the offender is unemployed (and with no savings), the order will only be for a few pounds each week.
The matter is further complicated by the fact that the case is before the Crown Court (which suggests that the possibility of custodial sentence might be quite high). The offender won't be able to pay any compensation if he's in prison, with no savings and no income.
If your injuries were above the £1000 compensation threshold, you might choose to seek compensation from CICA (where the money comes a central fund, rather than from the offender):
