HI

I have just started at a Wing Tsun school, and my first lesson was so hard, that i thought that I was not going to get through it, I loosened up by the end of it, but it was tough, I'm starting again tonight, but slightly dredding it. Does anyone have any tips on motivation techniques?

THanks

Never heard of them.....do you mean "foreplay?"
good motivation is you die if you don't exercise or work physically hard
sorry - should have said you die earlier.....
maybe you should tell us what wing tsun is?

Sorry, its Kung-fu.
Think about the endorphin high that you get from exercise.

When you've finished, and you're sweaty, and aching, and pooped, and you get that sudden rush where you just want to shout ...

... "YESSSSS!!!!"

Now get your lazy butt back in there, and work your body !
I find the best motivation is to arrange to go to exercise classes with someone else and then not to think about it until I have to start getting ready; by that point it's too late to cancel. Apart from that I would agree with JoggerJayne.
The first time is the hardest, will get used to the physical effort and then you'll enjoy pushing yourself and afterwards you'll be glad you did it so keep gong and give yourself a little reward at the end, mine's a bit of chocolate.
