drink, as in alcohol, and do any of you have a partner that is tee-total ? What do you do at parties - do you feel guilty if you have a few alcoholic drinks in front of your partner ? What is the non-drinking partner's reaction to you if you get totally sozzled ?

it was a bit of a change for me with my current girlfriend as my ex liked to get pretty drunk and my lass now doesn't really drink apart from the odd one or two here and there if she fancies it. It meant I drank less, not out of necessity but just because I'd tend to drink as much as her, maybe the odd one more, I much prefer it from both ends, I'm a bit healthier and have a more relaxed, coherent night and I never have to worry about her when she's out like I did with my ex!

doesnt sound good Brinjal - why does he react like that? My OH doesnt really drink. maybe a glass of wine now and then. I'll pour her half a beer when I have a few at home and she rarely finishes it! Theres usually cold beers in the fridge and a few bottles of wine in the rack. Theres never spirits in the house but I like a nice bottle of brandy and rum at Christmas.
