i was looking for you last week.
Think of it as the start of a wonderful adventure.
When I finished University I moved from north Wales to Northampton where I knew no one. My then boyfriend (now husband) moved to Hull. It was hard but it was probably the making of me. Good luck!
All the time, tinkerbell. I left my family home in the South of England to follow a job in Scotland when I was in my early 20s. Many years later I moved back south, when I got my current job I moved from the city where I knew loads of people to this small town where I didn't know anyone. It's great, you can take your time, be who you want to be - you join clubs and so on, to get to know people and to make new friends. I'd do it again if I had to.
I did from South london to essex from essex to Birmingham.... it was worth it love birmingham
Ten times because of education and job.

It is a scary experience but then, on the other side, it is rewarding and you meet so many new people.

It is all about the management of change and I suggest, tinkerbell, that you read up about that. It helps understanding what you are experiencing
have moved around lots tink due to my husbands work!....I really have enjoyed every place we have lived!..........we moved 13 times in about 25 years, been here now for over 7 years, and so far, m y feet aren't itchy....but they may become that way soo!.......never been anywhere this long before!....but love it here by the sea, so may stay forever..........
Yep, through no choice of my own...had to leave all my friends and family..but it was strange but exciting at the same time...you will be fine! It's fear of the unknown, but part of life sometimes. Good luck.
When we moved here (Hereford) neither of us knew anyone (I had never actually been here) and we took a massive risk (which didn't work out) but the place is nice and the kids are thriving (we know people now though).

You will have an incredible time.
Our local hospitals and community Trusts take nearly all our pre-reg students from the local universities - are the Scottish equivalent Trusts holding job fairs as you come to the end of your course?
