Anyone know of any responsible detox programmes to follow? I don't want to spend a fortune on silly tablets or anything like that, but i feel as though i need a few days of eating nothing but natural ingredients and getting all the toxins and rubbish out of my system. was thinking of drinking some green tea and then just eating fruit, jacket potatoes, salad etc. is there anything in particular i should include? x

You avoid wheat, dairy, meat, caffeine, alcohol, salt, sugar and processed foods. There is still lots you can eat. Get the book. Avoid the nightshade family potatoes, tomatoes, peppers, etc
Apparently the best foods are lamb rice and pears and lentils
least likely to cause sensitivity reactions according to a dietitian friend
I don't think anyone has really proved the benefit of 'de toxing' though... i do fruit and juice days though now and again but include carrot and beetroot juiices in the mix
