That's all. Just a very sore throat. Had it since Monday and nothing has come of it.

Can you just have a sore throat? or will some other illness inevitably appear?

Youngest grand daughter,age 4, came home from school on Wednesday looking like death warmed up. She was feeling very cold and just wanted to sleep. Thursday woke up with a very sore throat, been to doctors and has now got anti biotics for 10 days. Has also got a temperature and sore ears. Today her sister has come home from school and DITTO. Their mum has come home from work this evening......you can guess the rest!!!!! Just leaves their brother, hmmm.

It seems to be all over at the moment! I keep meaning to ask at my doctors about the flu jab but have heard some recommend it if you have a suppressed immune system and some don't so not sure.

Whatever I got last week knocked me for six and was off for three days - gutted as I hate being off and ruined my 100% attendance record.

Hi everyone.
Well I woke up this morning with the usual sore throat. I have a slight temperature so I put off the flu jab for now. Will see what happens.

Lots of people have been struck down so if I do get something I won't be surprised.
