Wasn't sure whether to post this or not... but here goes.

I'm feeling seriously down at the moment. Nothing in particular, lots of things. Just life, really.
I've been feeling stressed recently, I'd say the past week. I just can't seem to shake it, and seem to be losing motivation to do anything or see anyone.

I haven't really spoken to anyone in the past couple of days, and feel a bit like I'm slowly shutting myself off.
My parents have just been to pick the kids up, and although I was supposed to be seeing friends, I just can't face anyone with this miserable face.
I can't find anything to feel even remotely happy about at the moment. There's the impending Christmas, which I am seriously worried about, my sister (obviously) and I'm also supposed to be moving house soon, but I haven't even started to pack. I start a new job at the end of this month, so that's one positive, but the way I feel right now, I could just go to bed and hibernate for a few months.
Does anyone else get like this, this time of year? :-(

Sher, yeah I know that feeling! I've spent the last month or so doing a part time job, and they were constantly changing my hours, so in the end I'd spend days sat at home on my own as the kids were at school/pre-school. I don't think that has helped.
All my friends are into going out on the razz and, to be honest, it's just not my scene any more. I need a penpal... lol.

DT, can you read and write? (See above) :-)
Arh, that is sweet of you. I have eaten now, and do actually feel a bit chirpier after my walk and chatting to you lot.
I bet you sleep better tonight ! x

Lol Anne. I bet Sherr works harder than a lot of us, with her little clan :-))

Gran, I've got 14 things on the list... so will start crossing them off tomorrow. Thanks again, it means a lot :-) x

Box. Lol. I think so! x
Night Flip - sleep tight......
don't let the bed bugs bite
How are you feeling today flip?
When I feel a down coming on I try really hard to get out and go for a walk. If I do that I always feel heaps better when I get back. Hope you feel more positive soon.
Yes, hope you are feeling a little brighter today, Flip........
Hi Flip.

You have a lot of uncertainty and upheaval in your life right now so depression is understandable. Sometimes the fear is far greater than the reality, and so things may turn out far better than you will expect.

Sometimes we feel as though we are beneath a big grey cloud, for no obvious reason.

All I can tell you is that it will pass, and before you even realise.

My thoughts are with you and, in particular, your sister.

Thanks for the lovely replies.
I actually feel a lot better today. I've spent the day with my parents and my sister, and it's just been really nice and relaxed, which was just what I needed. I can't get over how upbeat my sister is, she's just so positive and full of energy.
Thankyou again :-)
Pleased to hear it - try to build on that
Hiya flip....yeah i do- i think its just stress at times its a horrible feeling like i wanna just cry!!!!

Chin up xx
How do Flip. Sorry to hear you're not feeling too chipper. Chin up lass - I hope things soon feel a whole lot better for you.
just what you needed flip. a nice day with your family :)
Hi Flip - I haven't read every one of the answers here - but did read quite a lot and agree with most of it. I did think however that as you have so much on your plate it would be good to get some help. You mentioned that you were supposed to be going out with friends on Saturday night! Would some of these friends come round one evening or maybe next weekend and help you start packing as you mentioned you had this hanging over your head. Ask them all to bring some boxes and have a glass of wine whilst you work. This might make you feel as if your 'workload' is reducing and hopefully make you feel a little better.
