A Better Life—Soon!

A much better life will come soon! We can be sure of that because the Bible says that many bad things would happen on earth just before it to usher in a better life. Those bad things are happening now.

Jesus Christ foretold some highly significant aspects of what is happening today. The Bible does not say that any one feature, such as a marked by a change in people would by itself be proof that we are in the time of the end and that a better life is near. The Bible’s prophecies is about a time of the end were to be fulfilled upon a godless world. Luke 17:26, 27.

considering all the books that are out there it is a shame Elderman can only do a book report about one book , even though there are many regarding belief and also many that offer guidance in living a fruitful productive life.

Maybe they do not offer such doom and gloom " as his bible "

Utter rubbish. Your book tells you that it's all doom , gloom and destruction, and that ' bad things' are happening now.
My beliefs are that we have enver lived in such globa;;y enlightened times where so many individuals in the world care about their fellow man and about what happens to them. I think people and the world in general are inherantly good and that the world is evolving thanks to things like the internet, free press etc, so that people kow more of each other, are more tolerant and fair and have a greater desire to help their fellow man.
For sure there are bad things, but more and more people stand up against them now Elderman, so that equality for women, people of all faiths and colours, sexual orientaitons, classes and creeds are now viewed as something to be desired, not something to be destroyed.
Today's kids are by and large wonderful people given the chance who campaign for animal rights, human rights and a better planet.
Your Bible is not relevant, it does not tell the truth being as it is a work of fiction by men hell bent on maintaining power for themselves in an unequal patriachal society. The world is getting better not worse because although we now hear of more bad things because of improved communications, we are also now more preared to stand up against them and do soemthing about it.
