Ghosts of the Future

A bit difficult to explain but something I have often wondered about. So a ghost is someone, say, 200 years old who is able to be 'seen' 200 years later, in the present time. Has anyone travelled into the future, say 200 years' forwrd in time, and come back to tell the tale? I suppose you could say that they are a ghost once they have died, but people who have 'seen' ghosts, have seen them when they were walking about, e.g. 'alive'. Does this make sense? No I haven't been on the magic mushrooms again ..

There was an episode of Torchwood where they were seeing ghosts in a hospital. The ghosts were people in the hospital in 1918. The people in 1918 could also see the Torchwood team so they were in effect ghosts from the future. Is that what you mean? It was explained as not ghosts but "times" bleeding into each other.

I guess you need to define what is meant by "ghost" first. But as for asking if someone has actually travelled into the future: well I can guess the answers you may receive.

If you are to accept the concept of spirits that can be alive or dead, and time being something you can be 'outside of' once no longer part of the material world , then you can presumably accept that spirits could effectively wander to any time and put in an appearance.

I'm unsure what answer you were looking for, to be honest.
