'Think tanks' come up with suggestions for the Chancellor almost every day but he rarely chooses to adopt them.
Anyway, hasn't the term 'OAP' been regarded as 'non-PC' (and possibly even offensive) for over a quarter of a century?

After all, there are now examples of crematorium furnaces linked to swimming pool heating systems so as not to lose the heat....a bus pass in to the centre and we have even better vertical integration, or is that horizontal in this case....
Reminds me of the Private Eye cover with the burning of Princess Margaret in her "stake" - a photo of Slough Crematorium and the chimney saying "One last smoke" - the building with a bubble "It's what she would have wanted."
