GHD Hair straightners

Ive just started using these nearly everyday.  Is this gonna damage my hair and it is best to use them with the protecting oil/spray? My hairdresser said the protection stuff doesnt protect your hair it just "cooks" it!

The oils and sprays will help but not as much as they suggest they do and even then only temporarily. The best solution is simply (but unfortunately) to just not use them every day. Give your hair a break every now and again.

Yep, my hairdresser says the same. They should not be used every day and if possible not at all, but I know that's really,really hard ;-(

best treatment for your hair is conditioning it once a week..... although conditioner puts a coating round your hair.... so i recommend once a week...also i swear by VO5 shampoo.....
