hello
I have some glasses on order with Optical Express and I have been waiting well over the expected time of arrival. I wondered whether anyone else had experienced this at all?
I was aware that they would take longer because of the prescription but I have waited over a month now.
They tell me that they arrived but did not pass quality control so a new pair of lenses had to be ordered. Maybe another two weeks.
Should I complain???

Okay. So a few months on and the nose pad has fallen off and I cannot find it. Simple. Pop in and ask them to replace. Hmmm simple one would think. They cannot do it because they do not have any small pads but we can replace with big ones. Which are as long as the side frame and thicker so in my vision. I said as such and she said yes!??? What can you do? Nothing apart from you keep calling in on the off chance we have some delivered. Now is it me??? Shouldn't they order and replace??? Another reason never to recommend. I have to go and pay to have this done at another optician. Or wait on the off chance meanwhile the metal digging a hole in my nose.
