similar cases include care workers fleecing people of their money if they have account details/pin. if he has taken money without her permission, she should report him as he has taken advantage of her. she really needs to start talking to her bank and get bank statements (online if possible, so you don't pay for copies) to see what he has done to her financially. he sounds like a complete arse, so i would report him asap and in future she should always have a bank account of her own and never give anyone the details - even if she is in a relationship or married. people can do really nasty things over money - you always hear about people stealing from accounts or emptying joint bank accounts if things go wrong. i have been married for 20 years, and i still have my own bank account, and my husband has his. we share finances jointly to pay bills and discuss money openly and regularly. this way, no-one can fleece anyone or be made liable for someone else's mistakes or spiteful behaviour. please tell your daughter to report him now and start a dialogue with the bank and police. i wish you well and hope she gets things sorted out. good luck x
