trying to keep cool and i am staying inside today,too hot for me,i have closed windows and blinds to keep the house cooler,i have two fans on,drinking juice with chumks of ice in it,cold flannel to dab on my face etc.bathed feet in cool water,i still have my nightie on its to hot for clothes,sat out yesterday for an hour and i had to come in as i felt sick and breathless(sun umbrella and sunscreen used factor 30.)do you think i got a bit of sunstroke or am i daft.?????

fill hot waterbottle with ice and sit on it.... last ditch help for hot flushes so might help.. Also try a peppermint showergel

My sister was asked to leave M and S because in mid 'trip to personal tropics' she opened a freexer cabinet door and just stood there

Keep a bath full of tepid water and go and dip every so often, better still just stay in it until wrinkly time!

cheap bucket or bowl a few v v small holes in bottom so drips through top up now and again

going to supermarket tonight,do you think they will be selling hot water bottles in this weather.even in winter i rarely feel the cold,this weather is killing me.

or use one of those freezer packs you get for coolboxes anywhere there is a good blood supply near the skin
