For months now I've had pain through my right thigh/buttock. Normally it's just a dull ache but the past couple of days it's been worse, like shooting pains.
I went to the doctor a while back and she diagnosed sciatica and gave me some tablets. They didn't really do alot but I didn't go back because it' wasn't too painful.
I noticed yesterday I was getting the pains when walking/moving but today I'm sitting still and still getting it. (It's not excrutiating, more uncomfortable).
Thanks Sqad. I didn't sound to me like other peoples description of sciatica too. I'm happy to continue just taking painkillers when I need. Can you suggest any sort of movement/excercize that might help get rid of it?
evian, i seem to have a similar problem, so will also wait for woolfgang advice. mine was self inflicted, i ran 10 miles without doing any stretching exercises, and i am paying for it now. its worse when i sit down, goes away when i stand up.
