i find the science of body language rather vague and too generalized.
ok what if a female holds eye contact with you and does not smile, or in another scenario momentarily acknowledges your prescence thru quick eye contact- but does not smile, therefore is she intrested, or is it just idle curiousity?
thanks

" Think we're just anti-moron actually." well it strongly appears that insult was directed at me. And as for threats of returning insults- well due to restaint they havent appeared yet have they?- and this was my fourth oppotunity to do so.
every one(within reason ) is entitled to their opinions and i felt as if i made a remark about paedophilia or bestiality such was the umbrage taken
as for not going to the pub ,that is a personal/religous choice(and not because my round was due)
thank you

tali122, acw and Artful are right: pubs are classic sites of social interaction (if you're British-based) and excellent places to practise your body language sciences. You don't have to drink alcohol, but why not pretend that you are? This gives you licence to unwind, and do and think things you might not normally try. As I suggested in an earlier post, it might also relax your prejudices about size and beauty - quite seriously, abandoning prejudices is an important part of reading body language, the whole point of which is being able to see beyond the most obvious outward appearances.

Believe it or not, you've had serious responses to your question on this thread...and one is that if you start snickering at women's appearance, women will take offence.

i think i know what youre saying " after a couple of pints they/me become fanciable"
what i was trying to imply was a lighthearted ironic sexism and i dont need to justify myself as i am 100% unpredijuced GUARANTEED, , in fact one of my work coleagues is a rather large woman - other colleagues call her a fat f ***** b ***** and smelly fat cow behind her back - the usual abuse that is common everywhere i have NEVER made such comments about her EVER also if i am offended by someone i do not personally abuse them , so please bear these important facts in mind (as they appear to be ignored in this kangaroo court by the judge jury and executioner)
tali, I don't think you have understood anthing any of us have said on this thread - or maybe it's cuz you don't want to. And nobody has suggested you drink.
Question Author
maybe i havent understood because im a mor...
p.s is it fair to call john prescott, rik waller, bernard manning, fat and ugly?
I've never referred to them as such (but then I don't know who rik waller is; as for JP and BM I've always appreciated them despite the room needed to accomodate); nor do I understand why you keep referring to yourself as a m0r0n. It was a word used many posts ago but you appear to have appropriated it. That is rather sad.
Question Author
i didnt say that you referred to bm and jp as fat and ugly(you and others would never be that judgemental) i was claiming(and yes it is controversial) that it was a generalised view of them and that there are other people besides moi with body prejudices - but see there i go again thinking other people have the same narrow minded views as me.therefore is it okay to snicker at mens apperances?
and you dont know who rik waller is?- well that doesnt matter much really
well i seem to have appropriated the moron (and sad tag) it appears - but its prefrable to a an exchange of insults ( which most victims would indulge in)
Question Author
acw , jno and artful- weve had a few days to chill out and evaluate everything as things, well ,got a bit silly , so we need to be friends and as a gesture of olive branch recocilliation and giving the matter carefull consideration.... i would be more than happy to accept contrite apologies from all three of you.
you cant say fairer than that
