No headache tablets in house

I have a splitting headache and have no tablets, and cant go out as am waiting for a delivery. Is there anything else I could take, that might ease it??

Yes have tonic water.

BJ is right, tonic water is excellent but does need gin.

If you havean't got any Tiger Balm, but you do have peppers - same ingredient, rub a little cut pepper on your temples. It'll distract you from the headache pain.....

Tonic water on its own is good for headaches, I speak from experience.

I can't imagine having no pain tablets in the house, that's one of our musts for the medicine chest.

I can only stand gin as an ingredient of Pimms No. 1! Was never on to go off it.
Southern Comfort, on the other hand, I used to enjoy until I mistakenly drank over half a bottle one night. Serves me right for trying to be a good host - hadn't enough whisky for two of us, so let my guest have it.
