Should I consider a hymenoplasty?

My virginity was taken against my will at a young age. Though now I'm engaged to a wonderful man and we are sexually active. Since I never got the opportunity to share that moment of "losing it" to someone, I'd like to get a hymenoplasty done before our wedding, so that I'll get that chance once we've been married. Is this a good idea? I've done a bit of research but don't quite know everything about it.

personally i can't understand really why anyone would want unecessary surgery (but that's probably because ive had to have 10-15 surgeries previously)
You cannot undo the past.
The future is where your happiness lies concentrate on that.
Personally I would not have an unnecessary operation.
Just keep your tights on...............
LOL craft strikes again .....
As long as you pay for it, consider away, though I feel its a waste of money. if you want to make the wedding night special abstain from sex until then.

It isn't something I want done to erase the past or anything like that. I'm not trying to become a virgin for any marriage conditions either. I'd want it done to experience that with him nd have that intimacy.
So you would risk it being painful and a chance you might bleed?

I know it isn't painful for everyone but that's the risk you run.

Call me crazy, but that's kinda what I'm looking for. I want the experience of it bcuz I never got it the way I should've. It was a totally different circumstance, nd since this option is available, I'd like to try it
You go for it girl.............you could maybe have a bit of a nip and tuck while they're down there,
If you can get a surgeon to restore a non existent hymen to have his work obliterated and made non existent again..........good luck.
Personally I think the idea is daft.

Thank u craft....... but vaginal rejuvenation is not something I need. I take good care of my muscles :)
It must be Sunday afternoon........
How much would you have to pay to have your virginity restored? What a waste of money, one prick and it's gone again.
Good guess Jack :-)
about £1500-£2000, I would rather have a good honeymoon ;)
Who in their right mind would want to be a 'virgin' again and go through that first time unpleasantness all over again (at least that's how I see it).

And Ummm, I've actually looked into it. Its a simple medical procedure, actually an outpatient process. With only 3-6 weeks healing. O know this might come a slightly controversial, but I want to do it for more of an emotional or psychological reason
Since you ask.........bad bad bad terrible lousy idea
Sqad is dead right. That sounds a complete waste of time and money.
Hope you get to change your mind betty x
