I don't normally, (or try not to), jump into the "How silly is this" type of debate, but this one really is stupid. Perhaps the hand-wringers are at work again? (I am joking before anyone starts to point a keyboard at me and let fire).

It is pretty obvious that the security do not have a clue as to what they are supposed to be doing and knowing that they are being scrutinised by the public and press alike, they blunder along trying to look busy and effecient and end up falling on their collective behinds. IMO it is not silly. It is a great example of stupidity being raised to an artform. (dtc gets of his soapbox and goes for a lie-down) ;-)
