Ceramic Hair Straighteners
I recently lost my GHD Ceramic Hair Straighteners (absolute nightmare!!) but before I purchase another set, which will set me back at least 100, I was wondering if there are any cheaper alternatives out there that are just as good!! I have tried Ceramic Coated ones before, but they just don't have the same quality as the Solid Ceramic ones. Also, someone mentioned to me that Glass Hair Straighteners were now supposed to be better, Any ideas?? Thanks Liz xx

They glide nicely through hair (when comb attatchment was removed), heat up to the same temp. as other salon straighteners, and straighten my hair to my requirements. However i only bought these as they were reduced from 80 to 30 (Boots) and 40 was my maximum. If i had the choice i would still rather have GHD's but i would recommend the Babyliss Thermaglass straighteners, if you can find them cheap enough, as they are 80 in most places. Hope this helps

Hi,
I've had a pair of Morphy Richards / Mark Hill straightners for 2 years and they are excellent I would recommend them to anyone. My hair is really thick and rather curly and I could not imagine life without them. I've looked around though and cannot find them anymore although I did find these in Argos www.argos.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/productdisplay?storeid=10001&langid=-1&catalogid=3151&productid+123762&trail=c%24cip%3d21970.personal%2bcare%3ec%24cip%3d21977.hair%2bcare%24cip%3d21982.straightners%3efc%24brands%3dmorphy+richards&categoryid+21982&clickfrom=image at this price they may be worth a try.
