Going To A Big Party Alone
30 Answers
I'm going to the 40th Wedding Anniversary Party of friends of mine who my late husband was Best Man for. The host was our Best Man when we were married too.
I'll be seeing lots of old friends whom we never really socilaised with over the years, in other words we didn't mix with them on a regular basis.
What time does anyone think is the best time to arrive? The invitation says 7.30. Should I arrive right on time or should I give it a while for others to arrive and then mix with them then. I don't want to be one of the first to arrive and then people think they might be "stuck" with me. TIA.

do you have a (grand) daughter or son who could 'walk' you?
it will be hard for you wiout your hubby!
also, why not take any old photos or your wedding album as a talking point, if needed?
