High Temperature with

Severe headache, shivers and shaking, pins and needles in arms and legs...temperature rose to 104.8 - this was Thursday evening, still have a really bad headache that doesn't seem to be fading, started taking Migraleve but once these wear off - the headache is back with a vengeance...help as Im feeling so rough, temperature is back to normal.

sounds like a Sqad case.....poor you, PP.....take care. Really at that temp you should have had medical attention then and there.

I would be tempted to go to the A & E if I were you.

This sounds like a post viral episode...your temperature is back to normal but your headache still persists. As long as you are not vomiting, can move your head without increasing the pain and that your headache is not made worse by looking at light, then you have nothing wo worry about.

Take Ibuprofen 600mgms in one dose and that should ease your headaches.

tonyav - I'd never go to A+E. I would phone the out of hours GP and then (I'm sure they'd want to see her), go there. You don't have to wait for hours then.

Thanks all as always for your fast replies, I have had bad nausea, sorry I didnt mention it - not been eating much - not actually vomited but the Migralieve seems to have stopped the nausea.
