Hubby not well again- part 2

Last night he saw sense and went to hospital.
When I was finally able to visit him today he went for a CT scan,having had an X ray before that revealed swollen gut and the scan was to see if there was anything else going on.
Turns out that the last course of antibiotics may be to blame,as he has C-Diff!!!!!!!
Honestly who the hell have we annoyed?He had the flesh eating bug,I had my seizure,tested positive for MRSA and now this.
He only had the antibiotics to help the wound from the flesh eating bug heal and now this goes and happens.
He was in a lot of pain when I left him and falling asleep,to be woken by a tummy spasm.They have started him on yet more antibiotics and he feels so down about this,it is not fair,he is a wonderful husband and Dad.
Just to top it off,it's his birthday tomorrow.

My sympathies to him. The only time I was ever ill was after a course of Amoxil which put me into a Nuffield hospital for best part of a month and nil by mouth.

That really is pants! I hope he is well enough tomorrow to enjoy some sort of birthday celebrations, albeit not the same as being at home.

I just hope he can fight the inevitable depression that is going to kick in.
There are lots of other little issues that I cannot share but are complicating things as well.Me being stuck in this wheelchair makes things difficult to say the least.I know most taxi drivers are good,but I cannot see a way that I can go and see him on my own.For a hospital it is wheelchair unfriendly,heavy doors,kerbstones and as I found out today,the gloves are kept too high for me to reach!Can you believe that?
Our house is not much better with two bloody big steps up to the front door.

Sounds like you need to get Social Services, Help The Aged or someone similar involved a.b. You shouldn't have to try and cope with all this on your own.
Hope your husband has as comfortable a day as he can.

Aya - thinking of you all, and mini aya. Good idea to contact the CAB or Social Services on Monday, to see what can be done to help you. I would hope that at the least, they might be able to give you an occasional volunteer hospital driver to help you visit. I hope MrA can at least appreciate his birthday tomorrow ♥

Aya lots of love and a birthday hug for MrA - tell him Gran Mamya said get better soon. As said you need some adaptions and help at home, like a ramp etc. Get a few phone calls made, don't suffer needlessly.
