I have been eating sensibly for about three weeks now (and jogging almost everyday) and have managed to lose a few pounds...this is probably a really obvious question...but why do I look about half a stone lighter in the morning? Is it because I haven't eaten for hours? Or because my metabolism has been working overnight?

You dehydrate slightly during the night so you could easily weigh a bit less in the morning.  Also your tummy is less likely to be bloated in the morning as it is hours since you have last eaten

I wish I could look this trim throughout the day!

Have you ever weighed yourself first thing in the morning after you have been the loo then the same last thing at night? We had to do this as part of an experiment for a college course, you actuallygain about 3-4 punds depending upon how much you eat during the day.

The same goes for your height you are actually about half an inch shorter at night as the cushions that sit between each of your spinal column blocks slowly compress through the day from standing, sitting due to gravity pulling on you. I am so full of useless info LOL!
