I have very thick dark hair, which is now very very dry and split from 3 years of regular straighning.
The problem is that its always been very wavy, but now its dry as well, if I don't strighten it it is not only big and wavy, but also frizzy, so I am stuck in a cycle of straightning it!  Can anyone reccommend tips/products/treatments for how to get my hair back to the condition it was before straightners?  I use so many products to try to protect it but none are having any effect! Thank you!

Have you tried Aussie 3 minute miracle?  It is very good for rescuing damaged hair!

I would also recommend a protective spray before straightening, and if possible don't blow dry before straightening

I have really curky hair and it used to be really frizzy. I too use loads of products but rarely straightne it coz it takes too long!

I've found that any Bed Head stuff works weel. Especially 'Curlz Rock' (looks like a can of hairspray, but it seperates the curls0

Also I dont go anywhere with out serum. The best I've found is from the body shop. Its quits a small bottle and its about 6. Works really well though (and smells lovely too!)

God my spelling was really bad in that! Hope you understood what I wrote!
Go and get it trimmed. Just having the frizzy split ends cut off can make the world of difference.
