Hi Sqad

I had the ultrasound today. The arteries in my legs are not bad, the right better than the left. The test on my tummy shows a problem but not clear enough to diagnose...or tell me.
Is it possible the artery is not blocked inside but squashed from various operations and adheshions or am I clutching at straws?
I'm being sent another appointment.
Thanks....Gx
p.s. Holiday weight gain pressing on the artery is not an issue. ;-)

That is not a bad start, so we are basically now foccusing our attention on the iliac ( pelvic) arteries.
In may well need angiograms on the ilio-femoral arteries to answer the most important question............are they blocked and if so how badly?
No,I don't think that you are "clutching at straws" as there is a possibility that adhesions are causing the problem, but we need to wait and see.
All seems to be panning out nicely so far and it may well be that if you watch your diet, take your statins and exercise, that we will keep you away from the surgeon's knife.
Keep me informed.

Hi Sqad....Two conversations with G.P. yesterday. One to tell me to ignore the letter they posted to me that morning....should have been sent in October and is now irrelevant. Oh well.
I'm to ignore the May appointment also. It's a follow up consultation at a one stop clinic to discuss the results of the CT scan...I haven't had a CT scan. Oh well.
The surgery has received no feed back from the hospital about the tests I had three weeks ago. Oh well.
The G.P. with the beautiful voice said enough is enough...contacted the hospital for results......does look like a femoral artery in the tummy so he has written to the consultant and phoned his secretary with a three week deadline for action. Don't you just love forceful men? ;-) Gx

Yeah I'm ok thanks. Had broadband probs again yesterday, BT engineer had to fix our telephone line Wednesday and apparently according to BT tec dept it can take up to three days for the broadband to get back to normal speed again, although it does seem ok this morning fingers crossed.
Also I am back at work now as well !.
