i do believe death at this time of year is especially sad............. 2 weeks ago my friend was sectioned under the mental health act, and another dear friend has been diagnoses with lung cancer, :(

This world is very hard and we have to cope with many bad things as well as good throughout our lives. Keep the good things in the forefront of your mind and remember him as you knew him. While there is someone who remembers and thinks of him he is not really dead but still alive in your memory.
