Playing it cool
Out of the blue last week, was invited out to lunch with a female work contact. Went really well- e-mailed her afterwards to say thanks, and asked her if she was free for a social drink this week ( we're definitely both single). She said yes, but is busy and would let me know when she is free.By coincedence, we've both been away on long weekends.
Question is, should I chase it, or play it cool? Come on girls, what should the man be doing?

She want's to make you get back to her so she can feel superior at best at worst she wants to humiliate you by rejecting you. You must not get back to her, if she's interested she'll get back but I doubt it or she would have accepted straight away. Everyone knows if they are free after work within the next week so if she was interested she would have accepted your suggestion or proposed one of her own. Tell you what if she does get back and I'll eat my words!
