Is My Belly Button Piercing Migrating Or Rejecting? Or Is This Normal?

Hi,
Okay so I got my belly button pierced almost two weeks ago. It was all fine there wa no bleeding or pus at all in the beginning.. I have had a few 'crusties' recently but nothing too out of the ordinary. Also recently there has been a very small amount of pus that is white-ish so there is nothing alarming there. I clean it with sea salt water two to three times a day and one of those cleanings will be a ten minute sea salt soak.

Yesterday I was running my finger over the skin where the bar is underneath, and I could feel it quite well. It seemed as if it was quite close to the skin, not close enough to easily come out but it's not very deep into the skin. How much skin / how thick should the skin be. Should you be able to feel the bar if you run your finger over it and is it migrating or rejecting? Sorry for so many questions I just really really don't want to have to take it out.

Thanks so much.

They usually take awhile to heal properly. Just keep cleaning it and dont fiddle with it. It may reject or even come out but give it a chance and dont keep poking atit

You can usually feel it under the skin, just don't keep rubbing it or playing with it, the more you mess about with it the more likely it is to reject, but you will know if it is rejecting and getting closer to the skin as that is what mine did after a while of having it and you can definitely tell. Just keep it clean and make sure your hands are clean too!
I can feel mine very easily and always have been able to. I've had mine in for 15 years.
I've had mine for years and can feel the bar through the skin.

Don't fiddle with it until it has properly healed though.
As others have said, I've always been able to feel mine and it does feel quite close to the surface but I've had mine in for nearly 10 years now and it's been fine.

I took mine out when I had gallbladder problems and had to keep it out for my operation (one of the places they go in is under your belly button) and couldn't face putting it back in for quite a while, must have been a few months and I thought it would have closed up but it went back in no problem, the skin is tougher than it looks.

Just keep it clean and keep on with the washes. Any concerns though and get it looked at ASAP, things can get infected quickly and if there is any suggestion of that then don't hold back as you don't want to take it out, it's just not worth it.
