Opening our Christmas presents my son in law and grandson received tickets for the ODI v Australia at Headingly in September.
Mmmmm I thought, wonder if I'll get one too.
No! :(
Over a quiet pint yesterday with s-i-l I mused that if couldn't go, I'd be happy to take his place, still secretly disappointed that I didn't get one too.
Over lunch someone broached the subject of Christmas presents, I expressed mild disappointment over the cricket ticket, Mrs BT then produced an advance birthday present, a ticket for the match.
Am now a very happy bunny!
