Specsavers And Diabetes
6 Answers
I went to specsavers today for my annual sight test, but after a few 'pre-test' tests, the optition said he did not want to test my sight as my blood sugar was not under controll, and it would not be a good idea to give me new glasses that might not be suitable in a few weeks when my control will be better, I have to agree as I have got a stinking cold, and have had for about three weeks, this has never happened to me in 36 years, so my question is, how have things changed that he could tell what my blood sugar had been like recently? (he did'nt ask me) I know I should have asked at the time, but I was so surprized that I did'nt.
