Hi I am having my first cataract op at the end of this week followed by a non related biopsy at another hospital the following day,

My worry is I need to lie on my side for the biopsy. Does anyone know if its ok yo lie on your side so soon after the eye op please?

I should only be for about 10 mins but I don't want to upset the eye but badly need to get the biopsy done too.

Oh dear getting old has its trials. Thankyou

Be sure the technicians doing the biopsy are aware of your concerns, but having close realtives that have double cataract removal and lens replacement procedures here in the U.S., no such concerns were expressed by the surgeon/opthamologist...
Let the staff know that you've recently undergone the cataract op the previous day, and let them decide what they'll do, they'll probably go through with the procedure, but atleast they'll be aware of your concerns. Good luck for both your procedures.. :)
