Fred!! Well done.....you're a star. A fairly slim star by the sounds of it! x
Well done to both of you. 17lbs is a lot of weight. So is 9lb but do you need to lose any more?

Thankyou.I am so proud of my OH he has struggled with his weight for years. He Is so much happier and more determined to get to his target.I am only dinky height wise and I would like to lose a bit more,I have never been this size before (pregnant, yes) but It has piled on since I left work and I still feel uncomfortable,so a few more lbs will not hurt.
well done to both of you its not easy to lose weight.
Well done, keep up your support for the OH, but start easing off yourself without letting him know, 9st seems like a [pretty good weight to me, unless of course you're only 4ft tall!

Thanks Brinjal,no It Isn't,I am a little fortunate that I do not have a sweet tooth but cutting out (kebabs, chinese, pizzas, steak and pork pies) wow was so hard and cheese my favourite,I thought I was going to die of starvation lol,but I have adjusted..My OH on the other hand has made so many sacrifices as he just loves his sweet stuff..

BlueToffee 4' 11 and a half, and yes I do not want to lose great amounts,I'll just keep going until OH Is where he wants to be,he wants to go on holiday and not be conscious of his size so I will do the best I can to help him on his way (down) so to speak.
Well done! Thats really impressive. WishI could get my husband to go.
Good effort, good on you guys. If something works, stick to it!
Very well done to both of you ;o)
well done both of you! Have you signed up for the Onwards and Downwards thread on here (under weight loss and dieting, it's a sticky)?
Well done you two, what a good start ! Keep it up .
I'm not jealous, I'm not....really....
Well done! Wish I had the willpower, Freda. I need a kick up the kyhber pass. Just can't get motivated. :o(
hello fredkins

my congratulations to you both, on your efforts - i hope you achieve your targets

i only wish i had the will power to do the same
well done to both of you! and if you feel like you want to lose a couple more pounds, then do it - but don't forget, once you reach your target weight you can keep going with your husband and you won't have to pay weekly anymore (they say you should just have an extra healthy extra a day so that you maintain and don't keep losing), so you can continue being a support to him while monitoring yourself to make sure it doesn't creep back on! as for the sweet tooth - look at the SW website for some lovely dessert recipe ideas. well done to you both xxxxx
It's good to hear someones success story, well done. Slimming world seems to work for a lot of people. It's the first step that's the hardest.
Congrats "slimmo-s" - what are your targets? I would think you are almost there, fred.....
Very well done to both of you.
