Hi Everyone

Just lately I have become very wound up and a lot of things have been getting to me, so I would like to try yoga or meditation of some sort (to do at home). If anyone can recommend any book's for beginner's I would be truly greatful :o) Nothing too complicated, I just want to learn to be able to relax better.

Find a local yoga class and go for a few lessons.  While you can get the idea from a book, the instructor is there to ensure you are not putting any stress on your joints.  After a few lessons, you will learn what feels "right" and a few simple routines to do at home.  I always find it easier to meditate when the teacher is talking you through it, and get much more out of it than when I practice at home.

All the odd postures made in yoga are to release tension and ease muscles so that the final relaxation section is more effective.
