I dont know whether this is muscular or not I keep on getting this short stabbing pain in my right hand side of my chest. I am really edgy tonight and I have been leaning over my computer for a few hours and I had 2 cups of coffee and a large chocolate cake earlier. The good news I think is I can put my finger on it when it comes and it only lasts a few seconds at a time. I am wondering whether anxiety could cause this or whether it is epigrastic I am burping a lot.

I have been doing so well recently with the anxiety

but, whatever it is, I wouldn't worry too much about it. I've had a few chest pains exactly like that over the years and I'm still here ;-)
No expert but it doesn't sound serious to me. Sharp pains when breathing in is something I occasionally get.
Hi Geordie, off again mate, Diabetes and large chocky cakes do not go well together, behave!
;o)
Gordie, cake is really bad for your diabetes - tut tut, don't slip back into bad ways.

Indigestion - too much cake!
