Tooth Extraction - Ouch!
9 Answers
Morning all
9 days ago I had a tooth out at the dentists. It was unexpected, as the appointment was just to have a loose crown replaced. Anyway, when he got crown off, he said that there wasn't enough stump to attach it to, and it was decayed so he took it all out. It is at the bottom, the molar before my back tooth.
It bleed for hrs when I had it out, and now over a week later it is still very painful. I'm on max dose ibrupfen, and wake at night when they wear off. It doesn't look infected (would I know?), just slightly puffy from trauma of extraction
Is this normal for it to still be so painful?
I'm still sluicing with salty water, but eating is a problem.
Type 1 diabetic for 38 yrs, so may heal slower, but even so. (Blood tests don't suggest an infection)
Any advice welcome
