Yogasun or anyone else, have you tried this? I used to practice yoga very regularly a few years ago but due to lack of classes in this area I haven't really been able to, now I've noticed that the next town along is opening a Bikram studio.

Although I'm not a yoga novice, I'm not as fit as I should be, do you reckon it'll be okay to have a go?

Oh yeah, I've got dodgy knees as well.

Thanks for any replies

Hi rocky. I haven't tried it as it's not my style and I am not 100% happy with it anyway. A few people can become quite dizzy with the extreme heat
and it's certainly not suitable for people with high BP or heart conditions.
However, you could give it a go. If it's a fast style I wouldn't recommend it for dodgy knees, a gentler more traditional approach might be better.
Just my opinion :-)

Thanks Yoga, it's quite intense I think, I wish I'd tried it years ago when I had the chance. Maybe I'll try to get my fitness levels up first, then give it a go.

Thanks again.
I haven't tried this either. It is not for everyone and I don't think it is suitable for me. I wouldn't be able to practice yoga under that hot and humid condition.
