I've recently been prescribed two medicines. I'm only on the second day of taking them, but just wondering if they should be taking effect by now, or do I have to wait for them to 'get in my system'?

Movicol sachets twice a day (morning and evening)

Mebeverine 135mg three times a day.

I haven't noticed any change. Is this normal whilst only on day 2?

I think you can take up to EIGHT sachets in a day!! thing is, it may take a while but you don't want to be overwhelmed by the results! of course if you're impacted you might want to be overwhelmed, and quite soon.. have a read of the dosage, and nothing else. I believe it's pretty harmless stuff.
