Thank you. My vision has suddenly become strange. My peripheral vision is one huge, and lovely moving prism.....worse in the left eye. I can't focus on the prism...it moves and jumps if I try. Walking about is a little difficult..as is typing! I feel very well...I have no visual problems and never get headaches. I was going out but can't drive, I know. What is it and if I lie down for a while will it go? It's been like this for about half an hour. Gx

the prism part sounds very migraine like. you don't have to have a headache with it.

Never had it before Tilly....daughter did when she had migraines but I don't even get slight headaches...it's very pretty but a nuisance.

Nothing sinister comes to mind, just lie down and get back to us in a couple of hours.

I don't get headaches I just get the sparkly prism which eventually takes over my vision and then fades away.

I would also recommend lying down in a dark room, otherwise it will only drag on for longer.

Gness, this describes how my migraine starts. I don't always get a headache. The only relief I have found is taking painkillers ( in case a headache appears) and lie down with gentle music playing . Very hard to find distraction that is not visual.

My GP told me it was a visual migraine. Lying down and resting is the only thing to do as others have said.

Well, I felt a little woozy when I was making a drink to take with me, fell asleep until being cold woke me. Vision back to normal now. What a strange experience..pretty but don't want any more.....
