I Hufff then use a tissue or the bottom of my jumper.

I find huff doesn't remove grease, just smears it more evenly.

This is slightly of topic but have you tried lazer eye sugery? I have and it was the best money I'v ever spent. No more glasses to clean.

put warm water and washing up liquid in a bowl and put glasses in and splash them around a bit, dry with a tissue. ive worn them for years never failed to clean them

Well, I've braved the fat scary folk @ Lidl & bought 2 packs of cleaning cloths. Very good they are too:-)
