Mm Links Results May 2013 Week 3

The final round of May's game has now closed and I can reveal that BigMac's chosen links were:

SCRUM DOWN (Yes ladies, I had to look it up too!)
GOLD MEDAL
SQUARE ROOT
TEST MATCH

Two of those were very popular with players but the other two were more elusive. Even so, it was a high-scoring game with 47 points distributed.

Did anyone come close to challenging Manxiemo?
Who will be the setter for June?

Firstly though, a big thank you to BigMac for agreeing to set the links this month although work pressures made it difficult at times.
We appreciate your input to the continuing success of this game.

All links were discovered in the first two minutes of play.

Ulysses100 was first with GOLD MEDAL with Manxiemo, beejay1124, fordward & middlestump ill in time for the bonus point.

Deecee131 then opted for the other popular link of TEST MATCH. Grannydi, rockfordill, Brenden, Manxiemo, Christiana & fordward all found the same link within the bonus window.

The clock was still at 9:02 when Rockfordill and Strix claimed their bonuses on SCRUM DOWN.

Strix also picked up the final link of SQUARE ROOT

There were 8 double-hitters this week with 5 of them achieving it with bonuses giving me a dilemma when choosing the hotshot.
Just one of them made their 4 points with the two most elusive links so for that reason I declare:

Last weekend, Manxiemo was out on top with 12 points (6 ahead of the pack). As you see, she has added a further 4 points and thus remains 6 points clear of her rivals. A really convincing win, so without hesitation

Well, well! BigMac, sports fanatic, versus Manxiemo, knowing nothing at all about sport! Nevertheless, thanks BigMac, that I seemed to be on your wavelength this month.
Gen2, I shall not be back home until after next weekend - we are staying with Pauline for a few days on our return from Tavira - so I shall be asking you to post for me, please. Needless to say, Reg, Pauline and Christiana will not be able to join in next weekend either!
