Has anyone tried this?

They have it in the beauty place I go to and they were raving about it and said it's really popular but thought I'd see if anyone on here has tried it and how they found it.

I'm sorry, but what on earth is it when it's at home?
Please note that is not an endorsement from me.
Ohhhhh, a giant vibrator !.
If you mean the Flabelos vibration plate, yes I have one at home (well it's a different make from Flabelos but the same thing). It's great for toning the body and has helped me lose weight too as I am unable to exercise much due to mobility problems.
thanks mamya

Jeez, 'too busy to exercise, spread your payments over, up to 3 years for £59.98 a month'

oh Eve, I really don't think so, not for me ta.
I have something similar and use it about once a week along with other exercises. Must say I can't say it made a noticeable difference, I recently started a fitness class for over 55's and that has made a marked improvement. Had it about 7 or 8 years now.
Just noticed the price I paid £150 for mine.

Tony.... behave yourself haha :O ;)

Ooh that sounds good Jan. That's what attracted me to them, trying to find a way of exercising that doesn't aggravate my arthritis and I can actually do.

I went in to get my legs waxed for the first time - can't believe how unpainful it actually was - definitely a convert - and saw they have some machines. Am very tempted to give it a try.

My weight has been getting me down as I just seem to keep putting it on. I lost a load when my gallbladder went bleugh and I had it out just over a year ago but it's gone back on and more even though I'm not eating really badly.

I know some of the meds I'm on are renowned for piling on weight and steroids don't help, nor PCOS and lack of mobility but I so want to lose weight, for my joints as well as looking better.
My daughter has been using hers for over 12 months and says it is a waste of money.
A mini trampoline might be a better bet!

I had seen it previously in markets previously and wondered it if was just a bit of a con. It's £4 a session to try it, cheaper if you buy a week or more's worth. If it's rubbish though I don't want to waste my money.

I think that might be too hard on my joints Tilly :( Good suggestion though - I used to love trampolining when I was younger.

I was thinking of a hula hoop, not sure if it would help much though. Need to try and get swimming though, hence the leg wax as I can't get to shave them properly anymore.

I miss being able to do dance and step classes and rowing and all that I used to do, even the cross trainer. Used to really like pilates too.
there is a seated exercise class near me. Not helpful for you, i know, but there might be something similar near you?
I have one of these power plates and use it solely to ease restless legs and get rid of cramp when it strikes.
I have trouble keeping weight on and have to monitor my weight like a hawk. I can honestly say using it has NOT caused me to lose any more weight

That's a thought bednobs, I'll have a look around, thanks :)

I was chatting to a friend who had tried it earlier and she said the vibrations really aggravated her joints so it might be a bit of a bad idea. I have another idea though, queue another post :)
