Hi, I'm due to have Carpal Tunnel Surgery next month on my right hand, this is the hand I use the most, I wondered if anyone has had the sugary and how long it took to recuperate enough to go back to work, I work in retail, therefore lots of heavy lifting, thanks in advance :-)

My dad had it done 2 years ago when he was a chef - he was told 6 weeks but went back to work after 4
Agreed....6 weeks if all goes well.
I had my Tunnel op in 1996.
I am left handed and my complaint was on right hand --luckily.
Due to some lifting in a laboratory,I was off work for months as they couldnt find me a light job.
(I also have signs of it being in my left palm now)
