Spotty saga lingers on, spreading all over now, both thighs and spreading down my legs, round the back of both shoulders and back of both forearms.

Thought I'd let you know the latest thinking after I spoke to my GP earlier to ask about anti-itch assistance (driving me mad!) and she mentioned my recent steroid injections and then worked out that chickenpoxgate was just after my ones before that and in both occasions it was flagged I had raised neutrophils before the rash came up.

So off to a dermatologist and loaded up with Eurax and drowsy antihistamines to help me get a decent night's sleep.

Could steroids cause widespread itchy rashes?

Sounds bad and I was feeling sorry for myself as I have a sore bit under my ever so tiny (I wish) boob. I hope that you manage to get something to calm it. Not sure what surgery hours are on a Monday - Dr Sqad will see you soon.
Eve....as you well know, I am not too hot on skins, but certainly topical steroids can give you skin rashes, but I would have thought that oral steroids would be unlikely to do so.
Would be interested to know what the Dermatologist has to make of it.

An elderly lady I know had a reaction to steroids and suffered terrible rash and itching.
